Prototype: Working website with one link page- evidence and intentions

Here are my prototypes for my website pages. The web address is https://wardisobel3.wixsite.com/mysite



- Unseen images and stories will be displayed on my website to offer more than developed stories.
- Navigation bar with other link pages to different styles of articles
- Comment section, share button to formulate audience opinions similar to 'free press'
- Media cross convergence through the usage of brand colour scheme being seen online and on my contents.
- Developed categories to have a wide range of topics for all audiences
- Different range of portrayed images via different camera angles and shot to create developed meanings- all will be unseen with each new edition
- Large amount of audience interactivity from sending in real life stories- all topics and genres
- Audience featured photographs each week as a form of competition.
- Audio and visual content like 'funny' clips to be submitted from my target audience making it appealing to the prosumer.
- In a photoshoot i would of used a range of shot types like a close up of a face to represent an emotion or a low angle shot of piano keys to represent BLM and also create intertextuality to Stevie Wonders hit song 'ebony and ivory'.
- I would of played around with the layout more by having bigger boxes for more exclusive articles with edited images to make the point of its importance- even making a banner to state 'exclusive'.
- If i had more time i would of had a photoshoot to develop more diverse representations for gender, age, ethnicity and social class by brining in a model to hold up a BLM sign for ethnicity and use a younger looking model to represent age.
- Furthermore with time i would of gone to different locations like a local hospital and take a wide angle shot of the exterior or a close up of an ambulance for my COVID feature.

Best & Worst Images Analysis

Best 3 photographs- This is one of my best photographs I captured around school it follows the rule of 3 and rule of odds where you can see the left wall, the girl and then the right wall. The shot is centre frame from a low angle where the floor takes up a third of the image. The person in the centre is almost a silhouette and you can’t see many features. The overall tone is dark but there is a break of daylight at the very background of the image which is very complimentary to the other features. This is another of my best photographs I captured around school. It’s a similar format as the first as in being in the same area. It follows the rule of thirds as the wall in the image takes up 2/3 of the image but a way to improve is that I could add something else in the image would create a rule of odds. T he model is posing against the wall that predominately takes up the entire image and the darkness of the wall contrasts the bright daylight. It’s a right frame mid shot....

Planning: Photo shoot: Photographs that may be useful

- I took multiple pictures of the same shot and they all came out interesting in their own element.  - They are all close ups - Taken from a low angle to emphasise the shapes of the flame - Taken outside using natural daylight- potentially even the light provided by the fire - I liked the shots were the sunlight is peeking through the trees in a dappled effect- even creating some interesting shapes which I managed to capture - The trees are in the background with the wood fire in the foreground- highlighting the main piece of the photo - No clear rule of odds but rules of thirds can be seen as the fire takes up the bottom 1/3 of the image leaving the top 2/3 with the naturalistic scenery  - Good contrast between bold orange/red fire and the delicate green background scenery. - Close up of leaves in tree- with one specifically in focus - Taken from a low angle with the camera looking up to create an interesting perspective - Dark shadows clear on m...
