Planning: Photo shoot: Photographs that may be useful

- I took multiple pictures of the same shot and they all came out interesting in their own element.
- They are all close ups
- Taken from a low angle to emphasise the shapes of the flame
- Taken outside using natural daylight- potentially even the light provided by the fire
- I liked the shots were the sunlight is peeking through the trees in a dappled effect- even creating some interesting shapes which I managed to capture
- The trees are in the background with the wood fire in the foreground- highlighting the main piece of the photo
- No clear rule of odds but rules of thirds can be seen as the fire takes up the bottom 1/3 of the image leaving the top 2/3 with the naturalistic scenery
- Good contrast between bold orange/red fire and the delicate green background scenery.

- Close up of leaves in tree- with one specifically in focus
- Taken from a low angle with the camera looking up to create an interesting perspective
- Dark shadows clear on most of the leaves apart from the main one in focus creating a clear and effective contrast of Light VS Dark
- Clear blue sky poking out- however due to angle its seen in the background and foreground
- Good editing could emphasise the specific leaf to make it bolder in comparison to the others
- No clear rule of odds
- Naturalistic photo with natural lighting
- Rule of thirds also isn't clear however the colour story of the blues and greens is effective.

- This is a cropped version of another angled perspective take of the leaves in the tree
- Taken as a close up from the camera looking up to get the look of the leaves gravity being downwards- more naturalistic to see
- I liked the lighting on one of the leaves which displays all its spring colours
- The light tones is also conveyed with he bright blue sky in the background
- Some visible shadows which could be edited out but I like how it puts focus on that one specific leaf
- Completely different lighting compared to the photo before
- No clear rule of odds or thirds.

- This is a medium shot of the edge between the trees and the blue sky.
- Taken from a low angle looking up
- Effective contrast seen between the green leaves on the tree and the clear bold blue sky
- With editing I could enhance the leaves on the trees to be more clear and the sky to be more blue to add further depth
- No rule of odds
- Rule of thirds could be applied as the trees is spread 2/3 on the left hand side
- The line between the tree and the sky is almost at a diagonal- creating an interesting look
- Clear + Simple
- Using the sun as natural lighting

- Close up shot of pink rose
- Taken directly centre so you could see all the petals
- Rose in the foreground and green leaves in the background
- Clear focus of the rose leaving the leaves in the background unfocused
- No clear rule of odds
- Rule of three = taken directly in the centre
- Used flash on my camera as well as natural lighting
