Planning: Photo shoot: Editing

- Out of my lockdown photo shoot I chose the most effective ones to then proceed and edit. What makes this photo the best is due to the focus of the image being the daisies in the foreground and not the model doing the splits in the background. Its taken from a low angle and its also a long shot as you can see the models whole body. As its taken from ground level you can see details like the individual daisy petals and the stems of those flowers. The white and yellow daisies provide an interesting colour contrast from the vivid green trees in the background and the grass. The outlook is naturalistic and aesthetically pleasing to the viewer. It's also good due to the outdoor setting and having natural lighting. As your eyes scan across you see more and more interesting details, from the green tree skyline and the model itself is doing the splits which is cool to see. However with all these good details I wanted to enhance it even more.

- This is the edited version of the original imagery. What I have done is changed the whole colour tone and by doing so I've enhanced even more the details of the daisies and grass in the foreground so its even clearer to see the petals and each individual stem of grass. The blue skyline is more visible poking through the trees and the model itself is more tanned and outlined.

Editing wise I:
- Reduced the overall brightness to make it more neutral toned
- Reduced the contrast giving the flowers details
- Increased the colour saturation making the yellow in the flower bolder and the model more tanned
- Reduced the image highlights so more focus is on the flower
- Lastly added some shadows and sharpened the image to give the photo a toned 'indie' filter creating the final outcome.

- I also chose this photo to enhance by editing. I liked how the flames looked so I proceeded to edit them. This is a close up shot of the wood we were burning outside, taken from a low angle with the wood fire being in the foreground and the trees in the background. The shot is taken outdoors used with natural lighting the fire creates a sense of realism. I managed to capture a shot of the flames looking larger on the wood which is helped by the angle I took them. The bright bold reds and oranges coming from the fire is a complete opposite from the green scenary clearly seen in the background. The fire itself is the centre piece.

- Regarding the editing I applied the same treatment as the other one but added more contrast so i could really enhance the bright colour and shapes made by the burning flame on the wood. It also enhanced the colour satuartion of the trees making them appear more green and vibrant.
