- The 1967 design in comparison to the 2016 waterhole is much more colourful and vibrant representing the child like quality of it. Moreover, the colours are much more subdued in the 2016 representation to create a more mature and realistic quality.

The Jungle

- Furthermore, both representations of the jungle have used a lot of greens however the 1967 design uses more variants and shades of green whereas the 2016 version uses similar tones of greens and browns throughout which means it doesn't stand out as much to the audience in comparison. 

The Wolves Den

- One difference is that the 2016 version of the wolves den at night tends to be portrayed raining creating representations of the mood and atmosphere. This rain symbolises the importance of this scene and the emotions also. Furthermore, both the wolves den in the 1967 and 2016 version are seen predominately at night creating a dark or menacing atmosphere. Also in the 2016 version the colours are significantly darker with a similar tone with the 1967 having more lighter colours.

    Good Isobel- it's amazing how much darker the 2016 sets are. The low key lighting certainly develops an ominous atmosphere.

Best & Worst Images Analysis

Best 3 photographs- This is one of my best photographs I captured around school it follows the rule of 3 and rule of odds where you can see the left wall, the girl and then the right wall. The shot is centre frame from a low angle where the floor takes up a third of the image. The person in the centre is almost a silhouette and you can’t see many features. The overall tone is dark but there is a break of daylight at the very background of the image which is very complimentary to the other features. This is another of my best photographs I captured around school. It’s a similar format as the first as in being in the same area. It follows the rule of thirds as the wall in the image takes up 2/3 of the image but a way to improve is that I could add something else in the image would create a rule of odds. T he model is posing against the wall that predominately takes up the entire image and the darkness of the wall contrasts the bright daylight. It’s a right frame mid shot....

Planning: Photo shoot: Photographs that may be useful

- I took multiple pictures of the same shot and they all came out interesting in their own element.  - They are all close ups - Taken from a low angle to emphasise the shapes of the flame - Taken outside using natural daylight- potentially even the light provided by the fire - I liked the shots were the sunlight is peeking through the trees in a dappled effect- even creating some interesting shapes which I managed to capture - The trees are in the background with the wood fire in the foreground- highlighting the main piece of the photo - No clear rule of odds but rules of thirds can be seen as the fire takes up the bottom 1/3 of the image leaving the top 2/3 with the naturalistic scenery  - Good contrast between bold orange/red fire and the delicate green background scenery. - Close up of leaves in tree- with one specifically in focus - Taken from a low angle with the camera looking up to create an interesting perspective - Dark shadows clear on m...
